1. Moving Quotes and Preliminary Estimates

All estimates provided via our digital booking system, telephonic consultations, or email correspondence constitute non-binding preliminary assessments unless expressly formalized as a written Binding Moving Agreement. Actual moving fees are calculated upon comprehensive on-site inventory, access assessments (including staircases, elevators, and transit distances), special handling prerequisites, and total transit weight.

In Short

Online quotes are initial ballpark calculations. Your final price is finalized after our crew confirms exact item weights, flight stairs, and physical parking access on move day.

2. Service Terms, Deposits and Scheduling

Coastal Movers is a moving quote and referral/lead-generation service that may connect consumers with independent moving service providers. Any pricing, scheduling, deposits, cancellations, rescheduling terms, and service policies are determined by the independent provider you choose to work with.

3. SMS & Automated Dispatch Messaging Disclosure

By providing your mobile telephone number during quote submission, booking, or customer service intake, you explicitly consent to receive transactional and operational SMS notifications regarding your relocation status, driver ETA alerts, logistics updates, and customer support check-ins.

MANDATORY SMS COMPLIANCE POLICY

• Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on project progress and customer inquiries.
• Cost Disclosure: Standard message and data rates may apply from your wireless provider.
• Opt-Out Protocol: Reply STOP to any message at any time to instantly unsubscribe from text notifications.
• Support Assistance: Reply HELP for immediate service details or contact our dispatch office.
• Strict Privacy Safeguard: We do not share, sell, or disclose your SMS opt-in data or phone numbers with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes under any circumstances.

4. Website Usage and Intellectual Property

All proprietary calculators, rate tables, graphic marks, logistical documentation, brand assets, and digital interfaces are protected intellectual property. Unauthorized reproduction, automated scraping, framing, or commercial redistribution of website content without prior written permission is strictly prohibited.

5. Referral Service Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Coastal Movers is a moving quote and referral/lead-generation service. We do not transport, handle, pack, load, store, or deliver household goods, and we are not a motor carrier or moving company. When you choose to work with an independent moving provider, that provider (not Coastal Movers) is solely responsible for its services, pricing, estimates, scheduling, insurance, valuation coverage, damage/loss claims processes, contract terms, personnel, equipment, and overall performance.

You are responsible for reviewing and agreeing to any terms presented by an independent provider. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Coastal Movers is not liable for the acts, omissions, services, or conduct of any independent provider, or for any loss, damage, delay, or dispute arising from services performed by an independent provider.

6. Governing Law - South Carolina

These terms, agreements, and all disputes arising out of website usage or quote/referral interactions shall be governed by, interpreted, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles.
